Other stuff: motorcycles

My fondness for motorcycles started when I was around sixteen. I bought a 1959
Triumph Tiger Cub from a guy for about $200 and immediately began cutting
it up with a hacksaw. Through the years I’ve chopped and restored a 1963 BSA,
a 1937 ULH Flathead, a 1946 Harley Davidson Knucklehead, and a 1960 Harley
Davidson Sportster. In 1997, I built my first custom bike from the ground up.

My most recent build, the red and black chopper in the following pictures, has been
quite the project. I hand fabricated the gas tank, stretched the frame, and built the
fenders from scratch. It has an SS 107 motor that has been heavily modified and
puts out around 110 HP. A real bone-shaking experience. Motorcycles are a hobby
for me. I am amused by the idea of building a rolling sculpture. True form and function.
